Hunter Hollis is seeking a Staff Accountant for an opportunity with a client located in Dallas, TX.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and review accrual basis general ledgers for respective locations, prepare and record journal entries, calculate monthly accruals and update balance sheet backup schedules
Research and resolve AP, AR and cash receipt issues
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly income statement analysis and balance sheet account reconciliation in a timely manner
Prepare and remit investor distributions
Perform corporate credit card reconciliation monthly
Calculate inter-company charge-outs
Record biweekly payroll journal entries
Process corporate payable
Assume additional related responsibilities as required
Education and/or Experience:
BA/BS in Accounting, required
2+ years of experience
Working knowledge of General Ledger software packages
Intermediate MS Office skills with advanced MS Excel skills (v-lookups, pivots, formulas).
