Sr. Network Architect - MUST have SDWAN and cloud (Azure/AWS)

Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Sr. Network Architect for an opportunity with a client located in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Responsibilities:

• liaising with managers and technical staff to analyze the information technology infrastructure needs of the organization
• looking at data such as network traffic to determine the capacity and speed required
• designing the network structure and presenting this to management
• identifying the hardware required, such as routers and switches
• identifying the software required, such as network drivers and firewalls
• working out a data migration plan, if designing a new network to replace an existing one
• working with the technical team carrying out the installation
• developing technical documentation
• keeping up to date with new hardware and software technology

Requirements:

• Cisco is the technology (need to know), SDWAN, some wireless switching/routing firewalls. Need to be an SME on all of this
• must be strong with Cisco nexus, Meraki, etc
• Cloud networking (AWS, specifically Azure because they are moving a lot to Azure, or GC) expertise. This is very high because we are heading that way as a company, and this is an opportunity to bring in that skillset
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher certification required
• Expert network technology knowledge with experience designing large cloud and on-prem solutions
• Extensive understanding and experience in networking
• Enterprise Design Patterns - experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Maintain awareness of industry trends in networking
• Partner with architects, engineers, and project teams to assess requirements and recommend solutions
• Define best practices for supporting recommended solutions
• Actively participate in the creation of strategic technology roadmaps
• Assist with business case development and presentation to management in support of new technology initiatives
• Define and plan technology lifecycle events
• Orchestrate the day-to-day delivery of services
