Job Summary:
Signature Consultants is seeking a Sr. Data Governance Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Deerfield Beach, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Review documented metadata for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Support build out of PowerBI report/dashboard documentation
- Review and maintain Data Governance Program organizational structure, including Business Data Owner and Business Data Steward assignments
- Assist Business Stewards and Subject Matter Experts with documentation of policies, standards and processes
- Support training relating to data governance practices and the data governance tool usage throughout the organization
- Support the development of teams to ensure data governance policies and practices are embedded throughout the company
- Participate in design discussions relating to data structures to ensure standards are appropriately adhered to
- Ensure all data assets subject to governance processes within the organization are addressed
- Manage and administer data governance tool
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Metadata, data lineage, data quality, data analysis, data management experience
- Strong data governance experience. they use Collibra as their data governance tool but will eventually be working with Microsoft Purview
- Data governance practices, including data governance program lifecycles, Data stewardship practices, Metadata and data quality management
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
