Sr. Data Governance Analyst

Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Sr. Data Governance Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Review documented metadata for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Support build out of PowerBI report/dashboard documentation
• Review and maintain Data Governance Program organizational structure, including Business Data Owner and Business Data Steward assignments
• Assist Business Stewards and Subject Matter Experts with documentation of policies, standards and processes
• Support training relating to data governance practices and the data governance tool usage throughout the organization
• Support the development of teams to ensure data governance policies and practices are embedded throughout the company
• Participate in design discussions relating to data structures to ensure standards are appropriately adhered to
• Ensure all data assets subject to governance processes within the organization are addressed
• Manage and administer data governance tool

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Metadata, data lineage, data quality, data analysis, data management experience
• Strong data governance experience. they use Collibra as their data governance tool but will eventually be working with Microsoft Purview
• Data governance practices, including data governance program lifecycles, Data stewardship practices, Metadata and data quality management
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
