Job Summary:
Signature Consultants is seeking a Data Analytics Manager for an opportunity with a client located in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
- 80% people management, 20% hands on technical
- Helping create the core data infrastructure and foundation for the company
- Manage the data analysts and engineers day to day (understanding their work, clearing roadblocks)
- Manage backlog and prioritization of tasks
- Syncing across cross functional teams to help determine business needs of the data
- Setting team functions and best practices
- Maintaining jira board and data road map
Qualifications
- Experience working in a venture capital backed, growth-stage company
- Experience prioritizing data ingestion, organization and analysis under heavy uncertainty
- 2-4 years of managing data teams
- Experience with program/project management
- Strong communication skills are critical
- 3-5 years of experience with SQL, Data Analysis, JIRA
- Must be proactive, organized and able to delivery results quickly and efficiently
- Insurance and GCP Product experience is preferred but not required
