Data Analytics Manager

Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Data Analytics Manager for an opportunity with a client located in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• 80% people management, 20% hands on technical
• Helping create the core data infrastructure and foundation for the company
• Manage the data analysts and engineers day to day (understanding their work, clearing roadblocks)
• Manage backlog and prioritization of tasks
• Syncing across cross functional teams to help determine business needs of the data
• Setting team functions and best practices
• Maintaining jira board and data road map

Qualifications

• Experience working in a venture capital backed, growth-stage company
• Experience prioritizing data ingestion, organization and analysis under heavy uncertainty
• 2-4 years of managing data teams
• Experience with program/project management
• Strong communication skills are critical
• 3-5 years of experience with SQL, Data Analysis, JIRA
• Must be proactive, organized and able to delivery results quickly and efficiently
• Insurance and GCP Product experience is preferred but not required
